BMB On Break

It’s time again for a little BMB R&R, especially with the market behaving as bizarrely as it’s been. Maybe if we stop watching it start to behave a little better…

Posting will be very light and variable over the course of this week, but we’ll put up an open thread each market day for our readers to comment on the day’s market activity or to post any interesting links they might run across.

Global Cooling

Wow. Obviously, the market climate is considerably different today than it was when BMB was sent to timeout last week. I haven’t had much time to watch the details of what was going on, but I did see some of the big numbers, and the disaster of last Tuesday.

I’ll be spending some time looking through the charts and getting things cranked back up on the site, but for now, I’d have to believe that playing a very defensive game and protecting your capital is the best approach for the moment.

To get some perspective on the events of the last week or so, read through Gary Kaltbaum’s columns to catch up (like I did!). Then maybe you can better decide how you want to play things from here…
