So, is this in hopes of getting taxpayer funded improvements for high-speed rail, not to mention the potential of leasing the rail right-of-way for transmission lines linking the future taxpayer funded wind farms?

I find his 50:1 split of B shares interesting too. Whether it is high speed rail, pipelines, broadband cables, etc, he certainly has something up his sleeve.

The 50:1 split makes the B shares more affordable to a wider range of investors. WB is looking for more buyers to support his stock price, relevant now that he is using his stock in deals.
