		<description>The failure of PFF brought a tear to my eye.  As a young boy I grew up near Pomona and opened my first savings account at Pomona First Federal back in the early &#039;70s.  I managed to save all my babysitting money in there, and after a year had saved up the princely sum of $106!  I was over the moon with joy.  Eventually that seed money became the start of a lifelong savings habit, and I am currently a renter and totally debt-free.   If only the recent PFF customers had been as frugal, we might not be in this mess.  Farewell to a cherished childhood memory...
