Geither Gets The Job
The Senate confirms Geithner as Treasury secretary, 60-34. Just more proof, as if we needed any, that our politicians have no moral compass.

They have a moral compass. The problem is they always head south.

You’re right. It’s not that their compass is broken — they just choose to ignore it.

Although he technically is not the direct head of the IRS, it is in his agency. I worked there for 32 years and I can gurantee that if a employee did their taxes the way he did his, they would be grateful if they were only fired.

But the Senators just look the other way. They’re used to getting the same sort of treatment.
