Skip The Vote
If you ain’t got the votes, you just don’t bother having a vote. Just change the rules, and say the thing passed.
I gotta believe that this would go over real big with those who are already distrustful of Congress:
House Rules Chairwoman Louise Slaughter is prepping to help usher the healthcare overhaul through the House and potentially avoid a direct vote on the Senate overhaul bill, the chairwoman said Tuesday.
Slaughter is weighing preparing a rule that would consider the Senate bill passed once the House approves a corrections bill that would make changes to the Senate version.
They’ll stop at nothing.
PURGE. And we can’t hardly afford to wait ’til November.

Ridiculous. These people really need to step back. Why in the world can’t they pass a few improvements instead of forcing this stupid thing? It is so painfully obvious that they don’t have the votes. There’s a good reason they don’t have the votes. It’s a ridiculously expensive, complicated piece of socialism that does very little to address improving healthcare.
