Son of Stimulus

As we mentioned yesterday, at the slightest notion that things really aren’t getting better as they had hoped, our leaders will be ‘carefully’ crafting a second stimulus plan.

  1. I find it interesting that the White House is saying that they “underestimated” the severity of the economic situation. Of couse, this is the same bunch that characterized the economy as the worst sine the Great Depression when they were running for office last year.

  2. Yeah, and everybody said they were ‘underestimating’ the problem when they were doing the bank stress tests. Of course, that was intentional, because the idea was to have all the banks ‘pass’ the test.

  5. If I remember correctly wasn’t the stimulus bill rushed so much that it was voted on without anyone in the Senate anyway, actually reading it. Legistrate in haste, repent in leisure.

  6. I think some of the hurry was to get the bill passed before most of the public figured out what a horrible bill it was.
